Firefox Extension: PDF Download
Posted in Firefox/Thunderbird by Master Geek on June 12th, 2007 |
Adobe PDF files are everywhere on the web. Problem is that reading them in a browser can be a real pain. Here to save the day is PDF Download.
What is it:
“Allows to choose if you want to view a PDF file inside the browser (as PDF or HTML), if you want to view it outside Firefox with your default or custom PDF reader, or if you want to download it!”
Why use it:
Very handy if you want full flexibility over your PDF viewing. I find that downloading the PDF and opening it up directly in Adobe Acrobat reader works a lot better for me. The adobe reader browser plugin just seems to slow everything down.
