Street Kings is a movie about a modern day gunfighter.
What I liked:
- Quite different from your typical cop movie, it had a few nice twists here and there.
- Powerful performances from everyone involved. Forest and Keanu were great.
- Great action scenes that deliver the goods.
- Pacing was done well, was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie.
- Story keeps you hanging till the end.
Overall:
I really enjoyed it as great action flick. The ‘gun fights’ that had me thinking about old Western movies and the gunfights in them. Nice modern take on that.

The Church of Rambo: “Thy Will be Gunned!”.
Rambo movies have their own category and the fourth movie doesn’t change the forumula.
Overall I enjoyed the movie a lot, classic Rambo with lots of guns.

Been a while since I have seen a Stephen King movie. The Mist is about a small town where a strange mist comes rolling in and traps a group of people in a supermarket.
For me, this movie wasn’t about scary creatures, It was about what people would do when their reality falls apart around them and they are presented with the impossible and their reaction to that stress overload.
The reactions of the people had me sitting there nodding my head saying, yep I can see that person doing that. This was the first time in ages I had done this in a horror movie, normally its ‘like they would really do that’ that most horror movies use.
Overall the movie stayed true to its premise and was a great if somewhat disturbing watch, as the characters felt true.

Imagine being able to teleport anywhere in the blink of an eye. Jumper is a movie about just that.
What I liked:
- Interesting premise that is really well realised.
- Great effects.
- I guess most people would have done the same thing in his situation.
- The scene with the car driving throughout Tokyo was awesome.
Overall: Great movie, lots of fun to watch.
