Game: Prince of Persia
The original XBOX had a great Prince of Persia trilogy that was a lot of fun. Enter the new Prince of Persia on the Xbox 360.
This time you play as the prince with a companion called Elika, who despite being with you the entire game isn't an ingame parnter that will get you killed.
Actually quite the opposite, thanks to Elika you can never ever die, you are just taken back to the last flat platform you were on. This basically works like a mini checkpoint system and captures the feel of the orignal in that you have to solve a specific puzzle or movement sequence and then move onto the next one.
The visuals on this game are amazing, you can see for what feels like miles into the distance, there are some stunning areas in the game that make you beg for a screenshot button.
The game keeps the fantasitc platform elements and puzzle solving from the xbox series, though this time you have a basically open world that you have to traverse and heal areas in order to move onto other areas, there are multiple ways to get to some areas and this provides the game with a very open feel, yet you are never ever lost or wondering where to go.
Overall:
This game was a lot of fun to play and a great addition to the series. There was just a bit of frustration with the end game sequence, though it's an otherwise perfect platform game. :-)
