Prototype
Prototype is a sandbox action game for the Xbox 360. From the creators of the amazing Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (a fantastic game) it borrows heavily from that game.
You play Alex Mercer, a man with no memory and the awesome ability to shapeshift along with superhuman strength, speed an agility. The game follows you as your try to put the missing pieces together while the military is trying to hunt you down.
There is a lot to the controls of this game. The move list is quite long, though once you get the hang of it, you appreciate the diversity available.
Side missions were entertaining and despite the usual repetition, they weren't boring and I would always stop to play one.
The game is single player only, though it would have been nice to get some co-op going, it might have caused issues with the story.
Destroying helicopters and tanks never gets old. :-) Check the Prototype Trailer for a nice overview of what playing the game is like.
Overall:
This game was a lot of fun. The main story was great with some nice twists and turns to keep you on your toes.
