Game Thoughts: Halo 3

halo3.jpgAhh Halo 3, what more is there to say. :-)

The Good:

  • They wrap up the story, its all over now.
  • Great fun gameplay in the singleplayer, large maps, fantastic soundtrack.
  • Really well fleshed out multiplayer, with lots of great options including the ability to playback old matches and share that with friends.

The Bad:

  • Co-Op is very laggy with people that are on the other side of the world, you can play multiplayer with them fine, though as soon as you drop into a Co-Op session, it all falls apart.
  • I found the multiplayer in Call of Duty 4 beta to be a lot more suited to my tastes.
  • Really struggled to clearly hear the dialog in some of the cutscenes.

Overall:

Great game, not too sure if I should have bought this one. Though I guess every fan has to have it in their collection. Very glad to have played the single player campaign though.
