How PC’s have changed

So I did a minor/major upgrade to my computers over the weekend.
Minor in that it was just a few bits here in there mainly to make things quieter. Major in that it took all day Sunday and part of Saturday to do it. :-)
It’s amazing how much things have changed in the PC world, everything is just a lot easier then it was in the old days.
- Sata cables replace IDE cables. Smaller cables that are much easier to work with.
- CPU heatsink fans click on so easily with a lever it isn’t funny. I remember the old days with a flat head screwdriver and applying so much force that one slip could destroy your motherboard.
- The default parts are a lot quieter than they used to be, back in the day everything was as loud as a dustbuster.
- Overall build quality is improved.
Overall though, modern PC’s are a lot better than they used to be, I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years will bring. :-)
