News on the Interweb for Week 11 of 2007.
Game News:
- Fan Made Halo Soundtrack - Pretty good actually, probably a bit too rock.
- Valve Interview - Talks about the new Half Life Orange box with footage from the upcoming new releases. Looks awesome and I am really looking forward to the new episode and Portal.
- First Penny Arcade Game Footage - Wow. This game looks to be headed in the right direction, now we just have to hope that it lives up to the potential.
- Halo 3 pricing - US $130 for the legendary edition with the helmet. Expensive is one word. Guess the hardcore fans at least have something to entertain them.
Geek News:
- Colour Changing Faucet - Adds a cool blue light to your tap which changes to red if the water gets over 32C. Very nice.
- Why a Career in Computer Programming sucks - Very interesting read.
- RFC 3514 - The Security Flag in the IPv4 Header - Pretty funny.
- TaskSwitchXP - Cool little ALT-TAB replacement.
- Open Source Palm Browser - Palm have let their products go and no real new software is coming out that inspires much faith. Another geek to the rescue with a cool web browser that has tabbed browsing and RSS support. Now if only Palm released some new hardware. :-)
- Delutube - Deleted YouTube video viewer.
Videos:
- Lightsaber Fight - This is Brilliant, check it out.
Geek out.
