Game News:??
- XBOX 360 to get quiter DVD-Rom drive - The current drive is so loud its a joke, should never have shipped with that thing, It will be upsetting if this is released. Oh well, thems the breaks.
- Cool looking XBOX 360 XNA game - In just 1 month this user has used the XNA system to build a pretty good XBOX 360 game concept, check out the video.
- Use your brain to play video games - The technology where the computer reads your mind to play games has been hinted at for a while, I can’t wait till its fully realised and then see what kinds of games get created then.
- Cool Flash game - pretty simple, just move the ball to the square and don’t let the red balls touch your ball. Lots of fun, my best score is 170, try and beat it. :-)
Geek News:
- Top 10 Magic trick news - Impress friends and relatives with your magic tricks.
- Awesome Flickr Stream - This guy was picked by microsoft to create pictures for their new Vista OS. He has a great eye and there are some great shots.
- Steve Jobs, lets get rid of DRM - This is why the iPod is a success, Steve realises that the iPod currently needs DRM to sell music, though he sees it as a waste of resources and would swap to a no DRM system if given the chance.
- Portable Generator converts waste to energy - This is sooo Back to the Future, they convert different types of organic waste to energy/electricity. Geeks will solve all the worlds problems. :-)
- Lock Windows Vista so it can only boot with a usb drive - This is nice, the bitlocker feature in Vista fully encrypts your Hard drive, so unless you plug in the special usb drive, it can’t be booted and no one can access your machine.
Videos:
- StarTrek: Of Gods and Men - Having the original actors from all the series looks to make this the best unoffical Star Trek show ever? If they can fix up the effects, they have some great potential there.
- GTA: SA Bike Stunts - This is some awesome stuff, the stunts are unbelievable.
