The Time Traveler's Wife
Eric Bana travels through time (and space) in The Time Traveler's Wife a romatic sci-fi movie. Can't really think of the last time I saw a science fiction movie that was primarly a romance movie.
First the SciFi. Time Travel is handled really well, they don't get bogged down in details that slow the story down or make no sense. Instead, it's just something that happens to him that he has no control over. This approach, or lack of :-), works really well for the film.
Next the romance, sorry only Eric Bana gets naked. :-) Rachel McAdams was great as the ever suffering wife and these 2 did a great job of portraying what you would expect from people in love in a situation like this.
The movie is great in all areas: music, direction, cinematography etc.
Overall:
Amazing movie. Highly recommended. Sure it's a chick flick with scifi on the side, but I couldn't help but enjoy myself.
